alot of books are like that, because the author spends most of hist time building and creating the world, and characters.
it takes them years before they get the first book out the door, but the others follow afterwards with far less polish.

Just started the fifth book yesterday, have been a fan of them so far. Not even close to as good as the Wheel of Time series, but still worth a read in my opinion.

The two burnt bodies weren't actually the boys were they?? They were just the farmer's kids or something like that right? To make Winterfell obidient?

I love how shit is hitting the fan for everyone at the moment, it's impossible to tell who will be able to come out on top

Well, I more mean that I have read 5 books, with no conclusive ending in sight. I'm not a big fan of that style of writing.

Isn't that what makes this so awesome? You can't predict the ending because the plot is so dynamic. I don't think I've read anything like that other than The Walking Dead.
