If you're not trolling, you're just wrong. You can look up precisely how much damage a single shot from each gun does, and they are very different.
Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
yoko i already gave an explanation of the tar21 being unbalanced. look back and youll find it.
another example: one man army / danger close / grenade launcher. you end up with infinite grenades / ammo to launch at people. while you do lose your secondary weapon, its hardly an issue with a gun like the tar21 that kills so quickly anyway. when you play a whole team of people using grenade launchers, you rarely have a chance to do anything without getting blown up because the range is so huge on them
another example: 3 round burst weapons kill in one burst, and landing the 3 rounds isnt difficult to do.
another example: the spas12. aside from its rate of fire, there is basically no reason to choose any other shotgun. it has such a ridiculous range compared to any other shotgun
ANOTHER example: the marathon pro / lightweight / commando thing. the ump kills so god damn fast that you rarely have an opportunity to react to people using it. in addition to that, they run ridiculously fast and have a huge knife lunge range to take you out with. aside from a few maps, there arnt many places where you can have a decent amount of time to react to knifers. have you ever played against a whole team of knifers? it sucks. alot.

Lol,
You are a good troll. Trying to imply that MW2 is balanced.
You do realize you can win a match in MW2 with just just air support? How is using your killstreaks to get more killstreaks balanced? How is a chopper gunner balanced?

Hey inferno this weapon called the stinger, it shoots everything down in one shot except for ac130 and pavelow. Equip it to a "blow shit down' class along with cold blooded next time you go in game.

Besides the fact that different guns do
vastly different amounts of damage, there are a lot of other factors which determine the overall effectiveness of a weapon. Recoil, idle sway, damage falloff, noise level, multipliers, magazine size, reload speed, etc. In this case, the M16 has an edge over virtually every other weapon, in every category besides extreme range sniping ability and full auto spray. It's simply too effective in a vast majority of situations, rendering most of the other weapons redundant in a competitive environment.
Bear in mind that I'm referring to the CoD 4 incarnation of the M16. MW2 is far too unbalanced and horrible for me to even care about.
Ironically, I thought the MP44 was extremely OP. Especially in hardcore mode. A single shot anywhere was a kill... and it didn't wobble. at all. I got somewhat decent at sniping across Overgrown with it..
That chart doesn't mention anything about weapon wobble either. Which is a big part of the game. The M16, G3 and MP44 don't wobble at all, where as the M4, AK and I THINK the G36 and M14 all wobble.
Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
The only problem I have with CoD (in Multiplayer, not campaign) is that it gets sort of redundant after a while, especially when all the "pros" do is call in choppers and nukes, neither of which are balanced at all. The game is fun at times, don't get me wrong, but it gets old after a while, especially since once you get to a certain level it's all either headshots, snipers, SMGs, or Akimbos.
Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
well now youre getting into playerbase issues, and not so much issues with the game itself. profags suck (except you m00kz, and inferno too :P), lets just leave it at that.
Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
That's pretty much Xbox Live in general. Not just COD.

Chopper is really easy to take out what's to bitch about?

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Sure a chopper is easy to take out. Oh wait, no one actually ever bothers because they are too busy equipping OP perks and akimbo glocks to use a stinger.
Why balance a game when you can just throw more crap into it and hope it balances itsel. Then if the community complains, patch the game and charge 20 bucks.
