.... I even posted my texture... to the model that I had to UV before doing it.
UV mapping is much easier in Maya than MAX IMO

no, you're all stupid :saddowns:
you're all CORRUPTED!
Tweek loses GG guys.
So does anyone know any good wireframe rendering tips for Maya?
I say User Error.
Llama is right. Unwrapping in maya is SO much fucking easier, and the fact that selecting faces in the uv window lets you modify those faces directly on the geometry, allows you to much more easily select chunks of faces. Just drag them in the uv window.
Tweek, the reason you get fucked up models is that the only real way to export from maya to max at the moment is .obj. Hopefully the next version of maya will export better. Thats the only reason I use max right now. Just so I can export to other programs better. I actually find maya to be a much better program.
Wireframe rendering tips?
Spacebar you get that menu thing, and its like view, or some shit (don't hjave maya open right now) and theres a box, "show wire on shaded" or some shit. All I know is, start at spacebar.
Ops, double poasted :X
I hear autodesk may discontinue maya.
What was the point of that post? To get someone angry? It really bore no relevance to the thread nor the situation at hand.
I heard Maya > Max in so many ways, and many companies use Maya for animation. Try harder.
