It really didn't? It's probably because of the pause. I'll show an update as soon as it has a sexy warp.

too many black lines, especially on the shoulder pad. they aren't hard edges, and the colour doesn't change, so perhaps a different colour?
also, I don't like the elbow joint either, the grooves need work or re-colouring or something.
oh, and the AR looks wrong. (and the knee caps look weird, and the groin plate is grey, and the helmet looks too pointy, and the wrist positioning looks rather uncomfortable, and I'm sure the back of his helmet doesn't cave in like that..)
all in all, it's just nowhere near as good as your strider :/

now onto my reason to bump this thread, my latest creations in gmod! (cos I know you were all dieing to see them :p)
my first experiment with the new portal props; A simple marble drop basketball thingo.
then, yesterday I saw a cool connect for a building made out of only a handful of props (from portal) at garrysmod.org, and decided to totally steal the concept, and then turn them into modular peices for a space station.
all the peices:
first space station (very WIP layout, it was just for checking they all worked well enough together):

it's got a long ways to go yet, but it's very conservative on the prop limit so it's all good :D
oh, and after counting the whole station is only 47 props (out of a limit of 60 IIRC on the spacebuild server I play on :awesome:)
What props are those.

naa, it's not spacebuild.
there just portal props, I'll get the names when I start gmod up again (eg. once I finish DL'ing and install these model pacs I'm getting)
