You know what I hate? Shoveling snow. Last Monday, we had about 1 foot of snow, and it took us 2 hours and 4 to shovel it all off our driveway... Damn you snow on driveway! You know what needs to be invented? Heated driveways. Then, all the snow on it would melt, and we wouldn't need to spends hours shoveling.

People are way too absorbed in nit picky bullshit and don't just fucking listen to the music. Music these days (and in previous days) has had to be so chocked up full of guitar lick that it seems to forget what the music was about in the first place.

I'll be listening to an awesome melody and then captain-dipshit-rockstar-hog-the-limelight fuckhead jumps out with some overused annoying guitar whine dribble that I fast forward through because it's a stupid overused recipe for music. Not saying all solos are completely bad, I mean, a solo with an awesome bassline and drum beat accentuating each others force is a solid sound.
Too many musicians focus on making 1 layer technical, while the rest of the song seems to be boring and stale. Some guitar riff with a 4/4 drum beat in the background, a tonic note baseline and some annoying gargle yell over the top, that follows the same melody as either the bass or the guitars. What makes music really mind altering and soal shaking shit is layering. Not just shitting up 1 layer. I mean making about 6 or 7 layers all have varying melodies that not only accompany each other, but are different enough to focus on individually.
I guess thats why I love Tool, and hate Iron Maiden.
Tool, I get these technical melodic drums, with this varying and dissonant, yet harmonic vocal melody, accompanied by another, totally different rhythm guitar melody and then another, yet again different melodic layer of the lead guitar.
Iron Maiden, I hear 1 Guitarist, going off his fucking nut the entire song, a really high pitched squeel from the singer, and the other guitars copying each others melody, with the drums being about as simple as the little spelling game with the monkey playing the drums. Don't even get me started on the bassline. Totally unfunky, and pretty much just another rhythm guitar. The layers just aren't their own element. They all seem to be supporting and mimicking that shitty singer and the lead guitarist/s.
See, this is where I look like a total hypocrit. Truth is, This guy is playing his music to really connect and entertain the people around him. Big rockstar fuckhead bands just play out their solos and let all the little kiddies buy their T shirts and help fuel their Hummer limos.

I've been seeing more appropriate infractions and actual warnings on threads instead of outright locking, and I view Ross getting banned as a step in the right direction away from the conspiracy of high rep invulnerability (although I do hope Ross returns someday, with a cleaned-up act).

I hate things that don't work. The fact that I love things that do work, like cars, and Firefox, and Linux, goes the other way too. I fucking hate things that don't work the way they're supposed to, even though huge expensive corporations are responsible for them. Internet Explorer- come on for god's sake, MS is one of the most valuable companies on earth, you'd think they could at least produce a product that complies with standards. But what really got to me lately is XBox Live. I can't change my billing information because there's a fucking bug in their fucking billing system. I do not want a service that has my credit card information and automatically bills people to have a bug in its billing system! FUCK that, man.
Also, what's with Indian tech support? I have nothing against Indians, but the fact that when I called tech support yesterday and had to continuously rephrase myself because the person I was speaking to did not understand the English words I was speaking really pisses me off. And wtf is with these fake names? *thick Indian accent* "Hello, my name is Carl. Let me transfer you to Mark, who has an even thicker accent than me." Oh great, so now the tech support guy is lying to me to make it easier to get the call over with? What else is he lying about to make the call easier to get over with?
But here's the kicker. I spent a total of 2 hours on hold, and spent 30 minutes spelling out my gamertag, address, and e-mail address to this guy so that he could tell me a bunch of shit I already knew, and then get offended when I told him "I know that already, that's my problem- I can't do that!" And then he finishes it off by telling me to go to some website and follow some complicated procedure that takes ten minutes so that he has an excuse to end the call while I fumble about online only to discover that I get EXACTLY THE SAME FUCKING PROBLEM THERE BECAUSE IT IS PART OF THE SAME FUCKING SERVICE. So today I get to spend another two hours on hold.
Anyway, in closing, fuck shit that doesn't work.

Also, what the fak is up with all those rat-like dogs i see in the streets lately? i mean this is as degenerated as it gets. some adult ones arnt much bigger than my shoe and in the winter you could see them outright "dancing" on the cold asphalt. those poor little creatures arnt even treated as real dogs and therefore their, mostly stuck up owners dont care too much about educating them properly.
to sum it up: i hate ppl who support an industry that intentionally degenerates dogs to the ridiculous point where they would be unable to provide for themselves in the open countryside. heres an angry smiley just to back up my point: >:|

I'm pissed off that I can't play the Orange Box on any day except Saturday because of my fucking French grade. When so far this quater has had a total of like 80 points and I missed 20 because I was absent a day. I have never gotten to play Half-life 2 before, and now it will take me 2 weeks to even get to beat just the single player parts of Orange Box. But I am so tempted to play all the cool mods and mess with G-mod, but NO. Damn you french class and your lack of extra credit and its freakign first hour so I have no opportunity to finish work in another class if I were to forget. I have 3 A's 2 B's, and that freaking C which is preventing me from playing ANY games what so ever durign the week, I am fucking bored out of my mind. I am just sick and tired of it, they think I'm addicted to games for playing for playing for 3 hours on a day where theres nothing to do, even though I'm playing like 6 different games. I am not some person who would end up spending 48 hours straight playing a game and then dieing of exhaustion. I already study for my classes each day, I'm doing fine in all my advanced classes, but all because of freaking french I have nothing to do during the week.

speaking of people who take grades too far, I got my report card yesterday (5 A's, 5 B's), my dad was like "good job :)" but my mum goes on and on like an A is just a pass (because obviously I only just got the A) and a B is a fail because it's not an A.
for fucks sake, I'm doing far better then you ever did in highschool, get off my back.
