jsut make the default have halo music, make it unprotected and peiople can have their own custom UI music

iirc the music in the ui is taken from the halo 2 soundtrack. You can always turn it off. A script system could be in place to allow you to chose what songs you want to play, but it (the script) will reset every time you close the exe

That would actually work quite well. Assuming it would look exactly the same, then it would take a very dedicated noob to mod it. And for them to put that much effort into it would be at least slightly commendable. ;)
