What if you made it into the intro for the game?

Like, turn it into a bink video, and edit in some SPv2 footage, then at the end have it fade into an awesome logo screen

omg your failing to see the whole point..it's just not worth the man hours to make it possible to see something WE HAVE ALL SEEN countless times..

I'm not sure how halo 1 works, but make a separate map for the cutscene? Im just throwing ideas out there, I know for a fact this in Halo 2 would work

Yeah they take up a large part of the screen. Nice video also, looking forward to it :-)
