Apparently [HIV] Dr recorded the most recent HCEL (2008?)finals [d2t vs Ep i think]

rec0 made that program where Dr can see everyone on the map.

is Dr around? we ve been playing 8v8s on CE saturday nights where this app would be very helpful for filming

It's called AllNames apparently, and it was created by Rec0.

I'd love to have this for recording as well, if people are worried about it being used for cheating, make it so that it only works if you're using the developer camera.

Also the update broke the app. You're better off having someone build a new one that only works in devcam mode, and works with the fov hack / yelo

Or just get Yelo to do it automatically, if you're in devmode and use F3 to run on names it turns them on for everyone.

Why wasn't the F3 thing ever implemented in HPC btw?
They could have easily done it in one of the last patches (and I only ever found it by accident to begin with :v:)

umm haloallnames had shit to do with that, that was the app rec0 made to use alt codes etc..; the app DR used was another app by re0 entirely.....if i am incorrect i am sure to be bashed, but im right so idc. If you want to see all names with green triangles; you are out of luck as of the moment, as far as I know......

I really wouldn't want that app to be released... Not to be greedy but because not everyone can be trusted with such an app. I do have the app, and it is really useful for videos (despite my video card currently being out of action). However, it is also very useful in cheating. Done it before in a few games for kicks and it really does help.. So I'm with Dr, not releasing without rec0's permission.

This would be easy to do, but this kind of thing is easily abused. Regardless, it is still considered a cheat in all shooters.

Hey, what if we made a new app for recording videos?
It should only show player names, for both teams (plus health & shield) while in in flycam, and also disable player input entirely so the player can't even move, let alone cheat.

Pat basically just fixed blue arrow to never reset the player (i.e. when you died on old one, team index was reset and you had to re-enable it, and not it works when ever you want.

Its pretty old though.

EAX+34h is the SlaveUnitIndex aka ObjectIndex to the players(biped) unit cache structure. -1 = NONE, so it's making sure that player is spawned in the game.

That constant is 'font' TagGroup in ASCII and that is not the draw function. The draw function seems to be the last function in this one. It is the only one that has calls to all these d3d device functions: SetTexture, SetRenderState, SetVertexDeclaration, SetSoftwareVertexProcessing, SetVertexShader, SetPixelShader, SetVertexShaderConstantF, SetSamplerState, SetTextureStageState. Plus the last parameter loaded into ECX looks like a stack pointer to screen space coordinates(signed shorts). That's just what I think, I could be wrong. I'm still at the top of the function, but slowly reversing it to C++. Want to help me figure this out? We will get atleast 2 epic things out of this: drawtext with sexy font, which we can use any font tag and engine w2s.

rec0 only gave select things to (mainly) dr@homo and to a lesser extent HIV.

sigh, i remember when rec0 first figured out /spd and how to use devmode in a dedicated server.... :(
