Halo Zero. I checked it out earlier and it seems it was finished and there's even a small modding community around it :o

I tried a bit of Halo Zero. I think owaw is a bit more refined. And by a bit I mean a lot lol

Halo Zero seemed like your typical generic sidescroller with Halo stuff added in. You couldn't even headshot or do any regional damage, where as owaw also has mechanics from Halo. The red reticule, zooming, the kill medals, dual wielding, plasma pistol + headshot comboing, needle detonation, even the whole "pick up a turret and walk slower" thing. overall it "feels" more Halo.

A shame, Halo Zero doesn't seem to have any multiplayer games up. I was tempted to see if I couldn't 3sk some BKs

I downloaded this about two weeks ago actually. It really does capture the Halo feel in a 2D game. If you like Halo, which most, if not all of you here do, then I would recommend taking a peek at it.
