Rossmum, did you make that mp5 back when you used to spline model? Btw, I want to animate these D:
Looks awesome. But the curved part of the stock could be smoother.
Can you do any better? it's not the proces that matters... It;'st he result of that process. And I think my court hammer looks allright. You do know that just about anyone can extrude some cylinders and smooth the lot, right?

He's saying that the model took very little effort, and isn't impressive because of that. Anyone can make a gavel look good.

While I agree, it actually takes a while to get it to look right. Try it and you'll see.
It's an accurate representation of the real life version, so I don't see what the big deal is. Sure, not very hard to get to look right, but when it looks right... Sure, as a demonstration of modeling vcapablities, it's not very impressive, but as art, I think it looks pretty good..
I have started a new weapon. (I trashed that old front piece to a pistol) This one is just starting. there will be more renders of it. i started a little last night.

maybe it's just one of those models that doens't require a lot of time.. Some objects are like that..
What do you think is more important, ythat dothe model looks like the real life thing or that it required a crap load of time?
