also lux, how do you do them fractals? Brushes, lens flares and diffuse glow/etc? I'm always interested in other peoples techniques, seeing how they do shit. Maybe I can help you learner some other stuffs :o


Also, I see you've masterd the pen tool. I still can't quite get my head around it, but I actually bothered to try and use it today. I think i get it though. Takes a bit of fucking with to figure out how those dam anchor points and shit work.

You can do fractals with Apophysis, it's a free fractal flame editor for Windows. There are others fractal editor, but I never really took the time to try an other. This one is enough for me. It's quite powerful and easy to use.

I do always re-work my final fractal in Photoshop, mainly for better contrast and colors.

The pen tool... I just started to use it a lot about like, 2 weeks ago ? It took 10 minutes to figure out how works Also for some odd reason, I can't stand use it with my tablet ;__; It's an interesting tool

quick thing I just whipped up, learning the dam pen tool finally. It's like a skirting strip texture, you know the border edges for doorways and such. Kind of an ancient forerunner/own spin themed thing.

also cracks are fail, but hey, thats what you get when you use a mouse. I could have done them better but I was lazy. Plus it's not the actual texture. Thats just a rendered one.
