    Yeah, but with the AR think it would take an entire clip just to take down 1 Brute...or 2....

    Meh, since the AR's toned down, I'd imagine it'd take a whole clip too. But the BRG's got more power(speaking of which, you guys really should give it a new model, the old model really...bad now, and the reload animation needs a redo, I don't understand how the MC can pull a box magazine out horrizontally[sorry if i misspelled that] when the clip is suppose to be pulled out vertically, for example: if the gun is facing <- way, the MC pulls out the mag -> way [with the stock blocking the way], not down, I don't understand the physics of that). So the BRG should only take about half a clip to a full clip, on easy, to kill a brute.

    I never just shoot...I usually shoot+melee+grenade or melee+shoot+melee or sometimes melee&#178;+shoot....I like to do different combinations...

    Lol, I never just shoot too, whenever I could, if it was a grunt or jackal, I run up and just melee them, conserve some ammo/explosives.

    im to lazy to melee the weaklings, i usually use a spare weapon lying around. (there is always a spare weapon!)


    in any case, im sure the brutes will require my full attention... asking someone whose beta'd, are the brutes stronger than elites, balanced or weaker?

    I do that up close when fighting elites also, not bcuz it saves ammo but bcuz it'll save my ass. If i have to reload i would get killed by the elite in close range combat. Empty the clip, get meleed, melee him back, reload or throw grenade.

    Personally, I rush foward, and melee, then throw a nade, then quickly jump away. Works great on all the enemies but brute and flood, seeing as how if you get to close to a brute they will start chasing you non stop.

    Dang they can do that in Halo CE?? Ugh I was hoping the Engine couldn't handle it. Lol I just really hated that in Halo 2.

    Lol, I loved that, it was like bullfighting, funny as hell. But yeah, I melee whenever I can, especially for hunters, it's fun and funny to watch them charge at you, miss, and melee him in the back, when he turns around and charges again, dodge, and melee again, saves so much ammo lol.

    Didn't [on regular halo pc] the flood not take any melee damage? And can you put them to take damage? Maybe only from weapons with bayonets? Thats a good question right?
