Killer traffic cones

Its a collision error in the game.

Something similar happens with marines and elites on some levels. For some reason the elites will be running at normal speed but they bump into you like they're going at longsword speed. I've seen it happen several times.

OR, alternatively, he was just hit by a traffic cone moving at high speeds.
You know, the way that makes infinitely more sense.

funny you should say that, since bungie use the havok physics engine. Also, it's got nothing to do with physics. It's the collision models.

Remember the thread ExAm posted about the HAlo 3 beta head on collision kill? In Halo 3 something hits you while going absurdly fast, you die. It's a pretty simple concept.
