As a complete change of topic back to the origin, I want to rant against the lazy homeless people. I know there are homeless who truly are in a near-inescapable situation, who try very hard to get out. I don't mind them, in fact, I respect them. But I get seriously pissed off (and ranty) by the people who sit on a bench with a sign 7 days a week, asking for money, and never try to change. I read an article about a guy in San Luis (town near me) who offered a job to a beggar outside his shop. He was refused because the man didn't want to give up his spot. You can make 5 dollars an hour in San Luis begging, thats two thirds of the California minimum wage (7.50 an hour). I hate these people who are so lazy they won't get off their own asses to help themselves while sitting there saying "I'm homeless, jobless, and lazy by choice, give me money!". I restate, if a person needs a week of handouts to clean up, get an interview, and start working, then thats just fine. But the people who just use us for change... grrr..... anyways, thats my rant for this thread.
