Dude, I can't take that. It hurts my eyes.

I imported the Longsword model from Halo 1. It looks like this:

and yes, the Halo 3 Longsword still looks like the Halo 1 Longsword except for the intakes:


But what I'm talking about is those horrible excuses for wings. Now, go fix it srsly.

If you found a better picture you will see that the halo 1 longsword looks completely fucking diferent from the Halo 3 one.

I found a shot were i can get right up to it and i looked at it from that, not from a picture were it is like miles away.

Thank god it doesn't look like your first image, otherwise i would of made the Halo 1 longsword insted of the Halo 3 longsword!!!! Are you just stupid!?

something im slowly working on it's not ment to actualy fly (more scenary ish cause it will be a map sorta... will explain later)

Its all to blocky, seems that you aint to good at 3ds max use the chamfer tool on the egdes. it will make them more roundish.

hey guy who orderd it gave me a drawing <.< it had that spikey crap on it and he wanted it spikey in the model itself, and again i know i suck and im working my way with the chamfer tool on it now.

Ok, dont over do it though. it also looks like you have smoothed the spikes, if you have you better take the smoothing groups of, because it looks really bad.

Get him to teach you how to plane model, because you can make better models that way.

Plane modeling?

It is were you use planes to model insted of boxes, With plane modeling you can make more details models than box modeling. Just ask you mate who is teaching you about it.
