I've known that AI couldn't sync online in the first Halo engine, and so far it doesn't seem to have any success in the Halo 2 engine. No AI online = no co-op online.
But then I started playing Halo 2 again and I noticed that a few things that couldn't sync in the 1st Halo (switches and the bottom-right score meters and the train in Terminal) managed to sync here. So...AI mb?
As the editing kit gradually becomes unlocked, I've been contemplating. Would there really be a way to get AI to sync online in Halo 2? If so, that would unlock the possibility of cooperative maps, though a safer start would be to have maps with bots first.
I'm not a programmer, so I don't know anything about the coding in either version of the Blam engine, but I do know that the second-generation Blam engine is more advanced, so I'm just wondering.
