Everyone thinks the Recon permutation is a BFD because it's exclusive. While it DOES mean something in a sense (Bungie liked something you did), people are taking it too far and thinks that it means everything. It's the same kids who piss, moan, and ejaculate over the full Hayabusa set, Security Helmet, and the Katana.

He's absolutely right. I hate the fact that everyone is grinding their teeth to get the freaking recon. It looks like it has downs....

I think the only good looking helmet that is anything close to hard to get is either the E.O.D, or the Security. Katana is just re-goddamn-diculous...

I think recon is great in the way that you will stand out amoungs others, because you have done something that bungie liked. But it doesn't mean that if I am on your team and you suddenly deiced that your god and everyone must obay, piss off. Even people without recon do that and it drives me nuts.

While I don't have a 360, I am sure everyone have met someone like that. Thats why I will be playing as Elite, because their nothing to speical about them, besides their melon heads but eh. Did that in H2 online, and no one gave a second look.

Then wear rec0n subtly. Like, say, just the shoulders or the chestplate. The helmet is too much of a target.

Why not just use a different armor perm.? Recon is great and all, but maybe when you go into matchmaking just put something different on. Or just say bungie took away the recon and the fanboys should go away.

How did you get the recon armor anyway? Was it a t-shirt thing, or am I thinking of something else?
