Can you go into detail about what kind of anime you're looking for? Just so I don't end up suggesting something you wouldn't like.

Man, I thought anyone would end up liking Mushi-Shi... its actually in the top 10 of pretty much any anime list.

I'm totally up for new anime as I've been watching the same series over and over and they aren't getting stale...just want something new.

    Ghost In The Shell
    Laputa: Castle In The Sky
    Spirited Away
    Princess Mononoke
    Blue Gender
    Cowboy Bebop
    Death Note
    Gundam Wing
    The 08th MS Team
    Mobile Fighter G
    Samurai Champloo
    Blue Submarine No. 6

I also enjoyed, to some degree, Eureka 7. Though at times Renton's behavior and his relationship with Eureka gets quite annoying. Also the underlying plot doesn't really make any sense at all. Reminds me of the ending to Blue Gender. That show is great until like the last episode when the writers seemed to take a shit on the script.

Oh you've watched Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo... you may want to go with Wolf's Rain which is by the same creators.

    I'll recommend some more tomorrow, but I need to go to bed. ;_;

OH and also, I haven't watched it personally, but my brother has and loved it.

I've seen Wolf's Rain. It was entertaining but nothing I would actually keep on my HDD and watch more than once.

Try elfen lied. It gets up its own ass in bullshit sometimes, but it is only 12 episodes so it doesn't ware on your nerves to much (like the manga did). It has a ton of gore/nudity, so that makes it good? You decide, I liked it:

If you want robots: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

Anime crack: FLCL (it's good, but you will be saying "what the fuck?" all the way though)

That's a very good list. The 08th MS Team had to be the one of the best gundam series, despite how short it is.

00 is totally different. It begins sort of like Wing, with 'terrorist' Gundam pilots trying to change the world, and then it goes off on its own path and gets quite good. It starts a little slow, doing a lot of world-building, but when things kick into action it gets real good. And you'd be just in time for season 2, which starts on Sunday.
I can't stand Seed/Destiny either (you gotta admit though, Seed 49 was a hell of an episode), but I was pleasantly surprised by 00. It's directed by the same guy who did Full Metal Panic.

And in retrospect Wing really wasn't very good...

    Don't forget 0080.

Also, tossing another show out there....RahXephon. And take a look at TTGL.

RahXephon is almost a complete clone of Evangelion. Don't bother watching if you're cynical about that sort of thing.
