I was there for that thread. And the one before that one, and the one before that one...
I won! I think. I think I looked at the sentence before I looked at the picture. I can has cookie now?
Oh damn, and I never read the subject line on any chan >_<
My friends and I came up with a theory on how to win the game, at least in our circle.
Step 1: At the last minute of your 50th birthday, you've got to smash your face into a blue frosting covered cheesecake
Step 2: Call everybody with the same last name as you in the phone book, and tell them they lost the game
Step 3: Drive as quickly as you can to the nearest gas station with a food mart
Step 4: Buy all the twinkies they have
Step 5: Throw them at anybody else in the store
Step 6: Run out, go home and go to bed
Step 7: Wake up at 6AM
Step 8: ???
Step 9: Profit!
Oh I remember this game, way old we used to have at a thing the Myskowski's called Thursday Night Dinner.
If you thought about the game you Lost, and in thinking of winning the game you thought about the game so in term you lost before you won. Therefore you always lose.
"I lost." says someone and everyone just says "BAWW!! I lost.."
Oh btw, I lost.
In the circle in which I play, you cannot lose The Game by someone directly telling you about The Game, or that they lost The Game. You can only lose The Game if you genuinely think about The Game without outside input. You can still lose if someone mentioning something about any other game, or the word "game" causes you to think about The Game, but you cannot lose if someone specifically tells you about The Game.
I think the last time I truly lost The Game was several months ago...
