That writing is Korean...

^ Never!

My simple guide to telling the difference between C J and K is as follows:
- Does the writing have a lot of really dense, squiggly lines?
-> It's probably Chinese
- Does the writing have more sparse, but still squiggly lines?
-> It's probably Japanese
- Does the writing have characters you recognize from anime?
-> Again, Japanese
- Does it have circles?
-> It's definitely Korean.

Easier way to tell:

- Chinese is usually complicated and square.
- Japanese is generally simple and square.
- Korean is generally complicated and rounded.
