I love how people harp on about teenagers and alcohol when at their age, half of them were doing hard drugs and in any case, those of us who weren't sheltered from it as kids tend not to abuse the shit out of it. Dad would always let me have a sip of his beer as a kid, and as a result, I rarely drink and I only get drunk at huge get-togethers where everyone else is passing out left, right and centre.
DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER!!!1

but dont confuses yourself with thinking that these people had anything other then money on their mind.
my family knew the tax grab on alcohol was coming as soon as the smoke screen started to appear about the horrors of "Teenage binge drinking" despite it having existed in australia for a long, long fucking time.
What pisses me off though is that these people that are imposing this bullshit grew up in, or lived through the 60's when people despised the money laundering fucks at the top of the food chain.

It's nothing but a load of fucking bullshit.
People need to stop demonizing alcohol and let people be educated on it. not just the "AND THEN YOUR LIVER WILL FALL OUT AND YOUR FAMILY WILL BE SAD BECAUSE YOUR BURNING IN THE ETERNAL FIRE!!" but the pro's and it's affects on peoples reaction times, judgment ect. if people knew how much it affected them and they had a conscious the drink driving problem would halve.
but instead where fed this one sided jaded, deceptive argument and brush it off once we understand how wrong it is.

Tbh i'm not that much different when i'm drunk to when i'm sober, i'm just a more confident and social.
