Haha, thanks. Screw laptops, I've got my new D300 to lug around now. It's a beast.

This tiny praying mantis, must've been an inch long, was crawling up my arm when I noticed it as I walked into my house. I tried to take a photo of it, but then it jumped onto my camera. I got a piece of paper then placed it on the floor near a window. I'd forgotten to switch from spot metering, so I accidentally exposed for the paper, giving me this silhouette.

A little after taking this shot, it jumped onto my face I got it outside though, where I left it on a plant.

So, I just got back from Beijing yesterday. Here's some photos. Bleh.








All taken with my D80 because my parents wouldn't let me bring my brand-spanking-new D300 with me. I wish I did, I missed many opportunities where the high ISO capabilities of my D300 would've come in handy. Ah well, to be a photographer is to work within your limitations.

Also, I can't seem to shake the habit of shooting in portrait, weird. Ah well.

I spotted this guy sitting thoughtfully on the curb, sorta just caught my eye. Nobody seems to even notice that he's just sitting there alone.







Wow, weirdly my last three photos have focused on the number three. I just noticed that... Weird, haha.
