Most dedicated servers on 1.00 are 1.08 dedi exe's modified to show up on 1.00 instead of 1.08. It also is set to not send the player cd-keys to gamespy. So blocking them on gamespy will probably do nothing.

Alright, I sent him another message detailing that most 1.00 and 1.04 servers are cracked 1.07/1.08 servers displaying as 1.00/1.04. I also included the facts about cracked servers now sending cdkey information to gamespy for validation, so the only way to thwart them is too block 1.00/1.04 server listing.
Sorry, no.
People who didn't purchase the game don't deserve to play, sorry!
Meh... Idk at this point... I would rather them play 1.08 and be legal but some of us are grabbing at people to expand the player base.... The only person losing money is Bungie so why do we care? Oh yeah that's because people with legal keys play in 1.00//1.04...
Idk tbqh.
The reason the outdated versions have players is not because of piracy. It's because everyone would have to move at once or else they won't be playing with their friends, and the faggots are just too lazy to do that. If they're forced to all migrate at once, then the same population you see on the old version will be on the new one.
is it just me or does it seem like there is a high concentration of spanish people in 1.00 with stolen copies of halo pc and ce? it kind of throws the ping imo
I've been playing this game since release, the people playing on 1.00 and 1.04 shouldn't be. If I can be of assistance to the last remaining "dev" we have in banning these pirates (which I'm sure he's not a fan of) I will be. Why are you guys complaining that I'm wasting my time? I've put (maybe) 10 minutes of total time into my messages to him, it's not like I'm wasting my life away devoting it to vanquishing evil-doers from the internet.
