alalalal the iwi to dds doesnt deswizzle the normal right so it goes gray...
Xmodel is what I use to extract the models and such and so does every one else who does.

I don't have any new screenshot of my best shaders on it.
Moses is the original person who rigged it and such. It is near impossible to rig cod4 and cod5 models to make it so it doesnt scretch. Without moses rigging it I dont think anybody would have any good pair of cod4 fp arms without stretching.

Anyways, Halo doesn't support bump and normal mapping on dynamic objects, so i couldn't care less about ripping them, but i did anyways, with alpha channel this time.
mb you cant see it on this page, just open it in PS and have fun, im not gonna bother making them "correct" if they are wrong in any way, this is how it comes from cod4.

W1zard, start using [shot] tags for large images. I fixed three of your posts in this thread. It's your responsibility to know the rules for posting here. Next time you post a large image without shot tags, it'll be an infraction.

Eh wrong, the guy who made the xmodel exporter and the iwi to dds didnt do coding right to deswizzle the normals (bumps maps w/e) so the R and G channels are there but not the B channel. RG are the gray parts of the normal and thats what deswizzles only. The G channel is the stuck in the alpha part while the R channel is the whole bitmap and RGB. Making sense?
Stop saying halo doesn't support, atleast say using adobe you can fake bump it in if you do it right will look good in halo ce.
Oh for each FP arms bitmap is a model for each bitmap. Say the SAS fp arms bitmap, well you can't just slap it onto the model moses rigged because it isnt the right model and it will not look right.
You didn't really rip it yourself, the Diego Logic guy did that for us so we can rip it ourselves for editing or w/e we want to use it for.
btw don't use the COS bitmap of the Opfor bitmapall black except some parts of the glove

and yea, i know the arms have different bitmaps, but the unwrap is generally the same if you compare them, so rigging one is nuf work =3 the only other set worth rigging is the gillie suit arms, because the mesh differs, so yea im doing that atm
and yea, i used the wrong diffuse on that screenshot, thanks for mentioning i never noticed =3 i fixed that when i uploaded those 5 other textures already
Lastly, I don't really consider fake bumping as bumping, only BSP's can use real ones, and you're really the only one that made it look decent faking it on the H3B spartans, but i dont use it, thats why im not bothering with them![]()
