Pretty much this. Bnet forums are a martyr, rescuing the rest of the halo themed forums from the halo fan boys at their own expense

Yeah but, the bungie forums is where the Halo community get's noticed the most.
So they are really doing more harm than good, at least on other site's they just get their ass booted where as on the bungie forums we end up with bungie giving in and messing with things not needed fixing, like the tripmine which got nerfed to fuck.

No, since H3 had its fair share of bullshit as well, most of it being encouraged by the game itself. At least some of the more aggravating things in H2 at least had some redeeming qualities in one way or another. Ever played Infection in H2? Played it in H3 as well? Yeah, H3 Infection just sucks due to the weak-ass sword and even weaker shotgun, as well as the inclusion of other bullshit weapons (heh, h3 magnum, what a joke).

Holy shit. Do we really need to debate previous games? It all comes down to perception which you won't be able to change someone else to view yours and vise versa.

What you view as a glitch or bug will just be someone else's power trip. It works in their advantage so they like it, it makes the game experience shitty for you so you associate the game badly. Games will always have bugs. That's why they have autoupdates, to fix such things.

And can we drop the MLG-is-full-of-fucking-morons? Why must we repeat something that has already been proven fact?

This thread is about Reach. Let's talk about Reach. Yes, it will be different from the other Halo games. Bungie won't make a carbon copy of a previous game. Deal with it. Cry a river, build a bridge and get over it. Leave remakes up to modding teams.

Has anybody else seen videos of the Mongoose? What do you think of it's new design? I like how it looks like an actual ATV now, nut I think I'm going to miss the Halo 3 design.
