Since all the rings came from the same ring plant, I'm sure they all have the same blueprints thus making that possibly any Halo or just Bungie giving their past game which started this whole decade long awesome train a nod.

E: Also, RvB went BACK to it after being stationed in Halo 3, so it can't be the same Halo in Combat Evolved as that one was blown the fuck up
