on any developed server with a few people playing on it theyll have rules out the ass and all the caves have been mined out already.

I'd say less than 10% of the caves in the server right now have been explored. There are a lot of them.

think we would benefit from a loadout of some sort, or at least a community chest that periodically gets stocked with stone tools and some basic resources.

Loadouts I'm not so sure about, for one your suggestion is all things that you can get within a few minutes of play, and second it's really not hard to get yourself settled as long as you knows how to craft the items you need.

If a player doesn't then they won't learn how to if the server gives it to them. They can always ask other players for both items and help on crafting if they need to anyway. That's the whole point of multiplayer.


Then of course there is always the chance that some guy would grab all the items when they get restocked every time...

Ohh yeah someone should edit the first post to contain a link to the map, so many new guys don't seem to know one exists until a player tells them.
