What you call a "13 year olds tard stache" I call clean and kept. His new mustache looks big, and unsightly. I actually noticed that he DOES look older, that too bothers me a bit.
I don't expect Johnson to be a super model, but he doesn't need to look like a scraggly video game representation of Thurgood from The PJ's either.
I understand, it's hard to go from living in an alternate world where the Sarge from Halo has no or negligible facial hair to one where he has such a prodigious caterpillar growing on his face. You are most likely in shock. Elevate your legs and you'll be fine.
But I'll have you know, SIR, that you would do well to heed any fellow of such splendid mustachiosity that you may encounter. He (or perhaps she) is most likely directly responsible for your personal freedoms in some way.

I don't care if a guy looks slightly different, I just care if the face matches the voice. Sarge's does, Keyes' doesn't.
By the way, I never noticed that the marines call Sarge "sir". I guess I didn't learn that was a no-no until after I last played the game. HE WORKS FOR A LIVING!
I noticed Keyes, Cortana, and a lot of the Crewman suffer from Bass-Mouth Syndrome. 343i should really check into that.
Also, who the hell is on that bridge and what the hell did they do with Captain Keyes?
...Your dry sarcasm and attitude still doesn't change the fact he looks withered and ugly compared to his other incarnations. All previous forms of Johnson gave an air of attitude that fit his character. His new face makes me think he's a janitor at a high school.
You don't have a gravelly voice like that without the weathered face to back it up. I never thought his old visages really matched his voice or had any real character to them. They were crudely-rendered African-American boney skull-faces -- as opposed to the crudely-rendered light-skinned boney skull-faces that made up the rest of the human characters.
Black DOES crack. Sometimes.
