i think what he means is theyre easier to spot. like, seeing them come towards you and seeing them on the ground. they had quite the smoke trail and light effect iirc. now DODGING them is a different story, especially on maps like rat race and chill out. but even if someone throws one near your feet, youre kind of fucked if it doesnt bounce enough for you to get some distance from it
