Spartacus has lots of explicit sex and nudity of both genders, however the nudity is pretty period authentic from what I've read of the Roman Empire/Gladiator time period. The body types obviously aren't accurate though, there are no fat people in Spartacus really.
There is definately gay sex though, but IIRC that was common back then as well.

Its just that in our society its considered taboo and weird by many while in Rome it was perfectly acceptable for the wealthy to flaunt their bi-sexuality.
