If DS2 would have actually progressed the story more than an inch, sure, maybe I'd say it's not half bad. Instead it's like "hey, it's a marker! blow it up! okay, making DS3, ttyl!". There's an uneven amount of story addressing in the DS games.
And they've obviously never heard of fucking skipping scenes. Why in the flying fuck do I have to watch the fucking dweeb of a main character crawl in and out of a chamber when he changes a goddamn suit? And giving a single suit a 'discount power'? I would love to choke out the designer who thought of this shit. How the fuck does something like that get through testing? You're at a store 1% of the time. You're shooting shit the other 99%. Make the discount global, not dedicated to a suit. Or fix the rest of your half assed shit to make up for your same-shit-different-day game. Don't just make a mod of your original game and call it "new".
