Played a guy earlier that had 13 service stars with the M26 DART, he wasnt even max rank.

For the assignments, what guns are classed as light machine guns? Things like the MP7?

light machinegun is a bit of a misnomer. sub machine gun -> assault rifle -> light machine gun.

I think only support can use LMG's?

anyway a LMG would be like the type 88 or similar weapons.

the support uses light machine guns. t88, m249, m240b, m60e4, etc...

general rule of thumb in this game: if its belt fed, its a light machine gun.

Heavy Machine Guns are typically mounted on IFV's, MBT's and the like.

    Example:
    M2 Browning

Any support class weapon that has massive recoil and is not a shotgun is an LMG lol. Well, there's the MG36 too, which is much more tame than the rest of the LMGs and uses a drum magazine rather than being belt-fed.

LOL that was too funny, especially when the guy realized there was C4 on the MCOM.

The gun MG the guy was holding up was a Browning M1919 .30 Cal LMG. In WWII soldiers did the same thing. The M1919 is nothing compared to the Browning M2 .50 Cal HMG. I'd like to see the guy shoulder one of those and fire it too.
