Sooo glad they got rid of gunner flares for choppers. You have two coordinating pilots then the chopper was nearly unstoppable.

Which is weird. I always used the RPG-7 and SMAW against helos. The jets were the ones that were unstoppable. Still are unstoppable. The only way to reliably down one is with another jet or the AA, assuming they aren't flying like a total moron.

I mean, yes, don't just give me a free kill just because I can point a rocket launcher at the target, but making them completely untouchable? Either give each side two AA to force ground+air work or un-nerf the AA rockets.

Uggh, so fucking tired of trying to get Jet unlocks, all I have is a keyboard and mouse, no joystick or other BS, which basically makes me a sitting duck. Anyone know any easyish ways to get out of being shot down every other second, besides ejecting?

im not much of a pilot myself, but id imagine it would help immensly to be on voice chat with somebody else flying a second jet or helicopter or something that could let you know when youre about to get attacked
E: one thing though, i got a joystick specifically for flying helicopters in bc2, and its really not as good as youd think. the game seems optimized for flying with a mouse and keyboard. in addition, youll be MUCH more precise with your shots if you learn how to fly with the mouse, because you wont be physically restricted by the joystick.
