Hold on, what is this Firepower Armour Mod? "Let's you carry two primary weapons" is how the narrator described it, does that just mean you can have two primary weapons at the start of a game? The in-game description seems to suggest that. Or is the default mode now limiting the weapon combinations people can pick up and use?

I'm not sure if that's what it means. I think it just means you can put another primary in the secondary slot. Basically, it means I can have both a Covenant Carbine and an Assault Rifle to start with. Prepare to get owned suckas.

Also, I just recently realized that the Storm rifle Overheats! Excited for that to be honest.

Isn't Halo 4 using initial class loadouts like Call of Duty now?

Because how CoD works is that you have an initial loadout that you spawn with. After you spawn, you're free to swap for whatever you might find lying around. If I wanted to, I could carry an M16 and an AK-47 if I find them laying around. The Firepower armor mod is basically MW3's Overkill perk.

I gave in and pre ordered the game, but I only did it becuase I actually saw some decent looking envrioments in that trailer that reminded me of an actual Halo game. I'll be open to this one and judge it from there if Halo is actually worth continuing or not, but I still think it was stupid to have Masterchief... again.

The firepower mod is exactly this. When you spawn, you can have a rifle and any of 3 pistol types. You can swap any gun for any gun anytime in game, once you've spawned. With that perk you get to spawn with 2 rifles and no pistol, so as stated earlier, you spawn with a DMR and an AR, instead of a DMR and a pistol/plasma pistol/boltshot.

I gotta say, the only Halo games i throughly enjoyed were H1, H3, and ODST. H2 is so terrible, everyone hated it's guts in the day, and Reach is interesting at first... but gets really old fast and is quick to show it's flaws.

...I loved Halo 2. I honestly thought it had some of the best story telling of the series. 3 was alright, didn't like the over focus on Earth. Reach....reach should have been like the damn book. I really liked ODST.

I freaking loved ODST. I did thoroughly enjoy H3 but I have to agree with my brother on its focus on Earth. I mean, I understand that the Covenant is invariably going to attempt an invasion but Earth itself shouldn't have been the main focus imo.
