Yes, that includes Red Dead Redemption.
Even if you don't play through the story, just enjoy the nature of its sandbox environment. That's what I did with San Andreas since so many years later I couldn't bring myself to go through it. Downloaded a 100% save and off I went with the mods. GTA V is supposed to be completely open from the start, so that should be fun.

Was just never into the "criminal, asshole" characters I suppose, I tried GTA IV and didn't like the story there. I don't see how the story in this would be much different.
I'm not doubting that the open world is fun as hell, but stories are a massive part to why I would purchase a game. I'm a peaceful guy, I like emotional stories more than entertaining ones as well. GTA to me was simply entertaining, not emotionally connecting.
