I think it's fair for them to own the Crimea since they took the time a long time ago to transplant their people there. They are Russians and deserve to be part of their country if that' what they want to be.

But I don't support Putin saying that the EU was wrong to support Ukraine joining their trade organization or a Russian invasion of Ukraine in any way. Let them partition like civilized human beings. You don't need to shove T-72s down their throats before their new government can even learn to walk.
