    Edit:

Also i sell booze for a living and make enough to get by pretty comfortably. I play Starcraft 2 for fun these days and i'm a masters meching terran. I even did a few videos about a crazy style that literally nobody else in the world got to work. Was a LOT of work so i guess i have a little insight into Firedragon's youtube stuff.

I also have 2 dogs, a house a wife and a child who's 10 months old and i've been doing renovations on my house drawing on the skills i got from completing a trade
I love game design too much, and I find too many flaws with my being a clergy. The older I became and the more people I met, the more I realized it's just not for me. I'm way too free spirited, especially to a fault. Oh well.

What is your favorite drink to consume, and favorite drink to sell? It's Australia too, so I can imagine there are some differences between there and the US.

Do you still have your faith or just a form of spirituality?

Did them for a long time, I'm still good with a warmup, but I could never find a dedicated team to build a band with.

I am imagining Bodz getting the local dingos and koalas spit drunk. Thanks for that.

As I put it to a friend of mine a month ago - "I'm too far down the rabbit hole at this point." In other words, I have both, but it's far from conventional and puts me at odds with the majority of others more "steadfast" in their faith.

Seems like your out the door on organised religion and are moving towards a more personal spirituality. Thats pretty cool

If you had to describe it, how would you and what are the nuances for your belief?

I've been out of organized religion for a while now, so I guess I can answer that to a decent degree. Back then I described it as the "Lonesome Road" because I practically left behind people who I had considered part of my family and had grown with at a spiritual level. I felt beckoned to leave on my own accord, however, because I was having difficulty looking beyond our faults and I felt as if I was being pushed away. I conceivably threw away most of the religious order I had established in my life. I would no longer be able to depend on a church to guide me during times of confusion and I would need to grow on my own.

Another reason for all of this change came down to a religious fight I had had with a friend of mine. She was atheistic and I was more evangelical than not, but we never made a big deal out of it until a chain of arguments spiraled into the end of our friendship. I realized I was completely disconnected with non-Christians and inconsiderate of what drove them to hold their own beliefs. I found myself to be hypocritical and contradictory; Christ embraced non-believers and believers alike, choosing to be with them over rebuking them. I could not accept myself as part of Christianity if I could not reconcile this fact - I wanted to be more humanistic when it came to personal relationships with people.

Here is where the nuances come into place; I'm in the middle ground between religious and non-religious. Relating to the devout or secular can be difficult because they are often further engulfed within their own sides. Speaking with atheists about religion/spirituality is difficult because they relentlessly argue the fallacies regarding theism in general; in most cases, they don't care about semantics and will dismiss anything you say to explain your beliefs. Speaking with devout theists is difficult because they use it like a shield and a bubble most of the time, wanting to pursue convincing you their beliefs have merit. Most of my friends now-a-days are people who are either agnostic or save religion for their Sabbath day; the former mostly ask questions when they're curious, while the latter will just hold conversation about it if it's relevant. Most of the time otherwise...we just hangout and stuff like anyone else.

Life has become more about living it and finding a path for myself, rather than following a pack because I'm not certain what I want to believe. I have had friends of many different walks of life, and I feel like I am much better able to have friendships with people because I look far more at who they are over what they may or may not believe in. I have too many personal issues to worry about what other people believe or don't believe - and at no point do I have any right to judge someone lest they ask for it.

I'm actually okay with how things are going right now in terms of my own spirituality; my job is by no means where I want to be, but it is humbling and has put a lot of life into perspective. I always appreciate you guys reaching out though. I'd hop on Steam to talk, but I haven't updated my Steam in literally 6 months because I stopped auto-updating and got busy doing other stuff.
