i aggree with masterz. the BR needs the launcher to give it that cutting edge over the pistol. because its a rifle, it would be put ot shame to be weaker than a sidearm.

there are two factors that make it superior.

1: the grenade launcher with impact sensitive explosives that deal a good amount of damage, and you can be using primary fire at the same time. very effective combo

2: the battle rifle shoots three projectiles, and therefore has a spread. its not more accurate, but you have a greater chance of hitting, and also a much greater chance of a headshot on an unshielded enemy.

there is also, however a factor that balances it out just a little.

It doesnt shoot as fast as the pistol.

this means that the pistol is still an effective weapon in gameplay in comparison to the battle rifle. really, the grenade launcher is an ingenious strategical design for gameplay (keep up the good work guys)
