Honestly, the only suckass level was Two Betrayals...it was long, a pain in the ass for situations, and was an exact rehash of Assault on the Control Room, except at the end you fly up instead of going back to the underground catacombs.

I always thought the shields on the brutes were stupid as hell. They don't look like a shield, but rather a glowing radioactive animal. Or it looks like the shitty camo you get on a shitty graphics card.

I've been thinking that since SPv1. On top of all that unnecessary bump it also looks like the whole ship is coated with a layer of plastic wrap. Just another instance where I think bungie's original looked better. I thought covenant architecture was supposed to be smooth and polished.Quote:

Brute shields (wtf), human blood decals (don't make it a single solid color), covie textures (less bump maps), and the Battle Rifle (still using the SPv1 model :gonk:) look like shit tbqh.
Everything else is great.

Biggest gripe: laser on the pistol. They look retarded in every game ever made, and you can't see the beam anyways when there isn't dust in the air, and even if you say there is, the angle looks fucked and it wouldn't be a solid red beam to boot. Kill it with fire.

Silenced pistol is fine, cool beans neh? But silencer needs more smoothing on the end; right now it looks like you made an octagonal cylinder and placed it at the end of the pistol. Also, LAM != Good. The laser looks fuxxed in blam! and it's just not halo. Why would you have a LAM when you have an integrated fire control system that displays a crosshair on your HUD without the need of giving your position away with a solid beam?
Also the laser is where the scope is supposed to be. If you absolutely must put a LAM on it, mount it underneath and remove the scope module completely a la Halo 2.

I agree with the idea to kick the laser out. It made it a pain to animate, and heres a list of things that make it stray from the center of the reticle:
walking
breathing (standing still)
turning
shooting
^ all times when it would be important to have it perfectly centered. also the laser has nothing to do with where the bullet will hit.. its misleading.

The laser isn't going, so you can stop debating. I edited the elite shield so its more "skintight" and tried something new with the brutes. I doubt you'll like the new brute shields, but we'll show them in the next broadcast.

Brute shields as they were would actually look fine in motion. Still screens make it look retarded though. Honestly, Elite shields look the same with a fixed-function card.
Well personally I like laser sights how they are in rainbow six. Its a matter of opinion though. And give me a bell if I am on Masterz when you broadcast :)
I dont see anything wrong with the laser sight myself,, although, its probably more a visual thing than an actual aiming aid (correct me if Im wrong), but tbh, half the time, when Im playing, and actively engaged in splashing florescent covie blood all over the map, I dont go 'zomogosh! those skins suxorz soo much! CMT is such epic failurz for letting crappy work into their maps!!!' Just give me somthing to shoot guys! When I have time to look at the handy work, hopefully itll look better than bungies anyhow :D

Sorry if this has been answered before, but do the first level and the last level have the exact same BSPs, or are there going to be some differences?
I think the shotgun looked better with the blue sights, and also it looks like they just textured the bumps on the barrel on, rather than remodeling it. It's too bad, really, last time the shotgun was fun to use but not fun to look at, and it seems to stay the same. :/

Nice. Always wondered why Bungie put that into the engine, but never used it. Did you guys make a model and piggyback it onto the existing tag/code?
And all I really know about this is that there's a tag for it, nothing more.
Does the double speed break when you go to online play? I remember Sunny having a double speed powerup in one of his maps, but it didn't stop going into other maps :x
We haven't tested playing online after using it in SP, but from my expierence with it,, after it wears off in SP everything goes back to normal. Double speed will never work in MP though.

yeah, It slows everything else but script ticks down by half. So when you use it, you move twice as fast, everything else in the game moves twice as slow. Device machine doors fuck up with it too, as well do script time events.
