This is given Bush is actually racist. He might be an idiot but i give him acknowledgment for two things: being smart enough to get elected in the first place, (or hire staff that knows how to run a campaign) and second not being smart enough to be a racist.

I live in Oregon, which is pretty much a melting pot of lots of kinds of people, and let me tell you racism is still quite rampant among blue-collar workers. The fact that someone came up with a plot doesn't scare me, but it does show how scared some people are of real change. Never again on assassination, I say.

On topic: I can't believe that we still have this kind of problem (fanatical racism, that is). I mean, not that I literally don't believe it, but that it's just shocking to me that after all the progress we've made, some people are still, for lack of a better word, stupid.
