Most schools and other "places of learning" tend to avoid topics of race, and religion (unless it is focusing on one specific religion ie: christian schools) for fear of offending someone (and subsequently getting bombed) but really look around at what's happened in the past. The regular dumbfuck who goes and blames his bad marks, loss of a job, etc etc, on white people. The school system then decides that they want to avoid bullshit like this (really cant blame them), so they tend to leave the educating of race and religion to the parents. Most of which are either too busy to teach their kids about it, and when they do teach their kids every kid will get a different bit of knowledge from their parents, simply because parents tend to have radically different views on all these things. Some are racist, some are as scared as the school boards to talk about it.

Personally I think it would work best to get a group of people who perfectly balance out anyone elses biasses, to make a strict curriculum concerning the history of slavery, all the way to current events.

But hey what are the chances of that happening :awesome:
