    By behind the drive bay/HDD cage you mean on the same side the motherboard's mounted on, or the side facing the camera?

    I don't have a problem with cutting the metal cage under the bay; I'm more concerned with what to do about the plastic front of the case, right in front of where I can put the fan; should I cut a fan-sized opening in it or maybe just try for a bunch of smaller holes that I can put a nice mesh in?

    Ah, you have the same PSU, don't you? I don't know a lot about PSUs, but Newegg had a deal on this one and so I thought I could save without buying a cheap PSU.


    EDIT: I just measured the distance between the bottom of the hard drive cage and the bottom of the case; about 9 1/2cm. How are 92mm fans in general? I measured the case fan at the back of the computer and it's 92mm. Doesn't move a lot of air but I can't hear it either.
