I saw the Barebones Pro playlist. I love the campaigns (so there's a tiny bit of motivation), but if I do get BlackOps, it'll be sheerly to play that one playlist.
I'll just rent it, fuck paying $130 for another MW2 (which I didn't buy either)
Back when I actually cared enough to try, I posted lots of things both here and on the IW forums suggesting how MW2 could have been improved. No one cared then, and I don't imagine anyone still playing this game actually cares now. If you search around hard enough, I'm sure you can find a few of my rants.
International production companies dont listen to what I say.
Not just me, a lot of people. A good portion of Infinity Ward's fanbase that have been around since Call of Duty 1 were disgusted with MW2. Go look in their forums, it's pretty much a seething pit of rage and hate. I have a hard time imagining that Black Ops will do anything to redeem the series in the eyes of veteran CoD players.

I realize now that if IW (and I guess Treyarch, but they were never good) wants to ditch their hardcore fanbase in favor of 'flavor of the year' kiddies, no one can really stop them. The only thing people like me can do is stop buying their games.
