    I posted after him.
I posted it in the first place pretty much just because I was entranced by the fact that it was actually a good drawing, but after going back to Rahil's DeviantArt, Bryn Casey's painting, Wave of Lag's old model, Jean Guilermette's CG rendition, CMT's work so far, and especially the original cover scan, I realized how much work it actually needed and how many details were off; details I didn't feel like running through at 2:00 AM.

Therefore, the post as a whole didn't work for me. But I will leave you with this: go back to the legs and feet and keep going until they're perfect.

Post Scriptum: How are your H2 maps coming along?

I dont get what you are comparing to since there is not a full shot of the Spartan III. There is only a little you can see of him.

    Abs to die for.

Why the hell would the creatores of the spartan suit make a thin cloth like part thin enough to show the users abbs that don't even look real, and why does the glass of the helmet have to extend that far back whats the point unless he has eyes on the side of his head?
If you want to make the spartan cool looking why not just add a big chainsaw/minigun and a jet pack?

If I read it I wouldn't be making the above comments.

Sorry, I misread your post. I thought you said that CMT was making the suit look bad and not the creators.

actually you read my post right, since I didn't read Ghosts of Onyx I didn't know if it was an orginal idea from cmt or taken from some where els.
Now that Iv sean the Ghosts of Onyx cover I retract my comment about the helmet and replace it with a comment on how the helmet doesn't look like the one in the ghosts of Onyx cover witch am guessing cmt is copying.

Better yet, use all the proportions of the H2 spartan, but give him the SPI armor. After all, it is only different armor. The spartan-IIIs may differ a bit, but I suspect not by much.

Also, I see no need for the "biohazard" symbol on the "belt" area.
I think you need to catch up on your halo edumacation.
Spartan III's are teenagers or just barely teens, usually around 12.
I think he hit the proportions dead on the head for it. But the biohazard symbol is just dumb.
