um...no what in the fuck does poly by poly modeling mean? plane modeling is correct. and no it does not need less tris, 6,000 should probably be your max.

either way needs more models.

legionaire45, don't listen to anything this guy says, he has no clue what he is talking about. his modeling knowledge is equivalent to that of a kid with down syndrome.

Poly by poly modeling means creating one polygon at a time. I have no idea how this plane modeling crap started.
He can let his model poly count be the same as a next gen biped if he wants.
Just suggesting to keep it around the orignal halo weapons poly count.
